Diese Website und ihre Dienste werden von der Tactical Ops Community betrieben. Durch die Nutzung dieser Website stimmen Sie diesen Nutzungsbedingungen zu.

2. Leistungen

Wir stellen Dienste zur Spieleridentifikation (ILS), Statistikerfassung und Serververwaltung bereit. Die Funktionen können jederzeit geändert oder eingestellt werden.

3. Nutzerpflichten

• Keine falschen Angaben machen
• Keine Identitätsfälschung
• Keine Manipulation oder Missbrauch des Systems

4. Spieleridentität

Spieler müssen ihre Identität per E-Mail bestätigen. Missbrauch kann zur Sperrung oder Löschung führen.

5. Haftung

Die Nutzung erfolgt auf eigene Gefahr. Es wird keine Gewähr für Verfügbarkeit oder Korrektheit übernommen.

6. Service Availability & Termination

Der Betrieb dieser Dienste kann jederzeit ganz oder teilweise eingestellt werden. Es besteht kein Anspruch auf dauerhafte Verfügbarkeit oder Fortführung der angebotenen Funktionen.

Im Falle einer Einstellung des Dienstes werden gespeicherte Daten, einschließlich Spielerstatistiken, Registrierungen und zugehörige Informationen, dauerhaft gelöscht, sofern keine gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten bestehen.

7. Hardwaregebundene Spieleridentität und Statistiken

Die Erfassung und Speicherung von Spielerstatistiken erfolgt nicht auf Basis eines globalen Benutzerkontos, sondern ist an die jeweilige Hardware (ILS-ID) gebunden. Jeder Computer wird dabei als eigenständige Identität betrachtet.

Änderungen an der Hardware oder Systemumgebung (z. B. Austausch von Komponenten, Neuinstallation des Systems oder Nutzung anderer Geräte) können dazu führen, dass eine neue ILS-ID generiert wird. In diesem Fall wird der Spieler als neuer Teilnehmer erkannt, und bereits registrierte Spielernamen oder Statistiken sind nicht automatisch verfügbar.

Ein registrierter Spielername ist fest mit der ursprünglichen ILS-ID verknüpft und kann ohne manuelle Übertragung nicht erneut verwendet werden.

Es wird daher empfohlen, die eigene ILS-ID sicher aufzubewahren. In begründeten Fällen kann der Betreiber nach eigenem Ermessen eine Übertragung (Migration) von Spielernamen und Statistiken auf eine neue ILS-ID durchführen, sofern ein ausreichender Nachweis der Zugehörigkeit erbracht wird.

Ein Anspruch auf Wiederherstellung oder Übertragung von Daten besteht nicht.

We provide identity verification (ILS), player statistics, and server-related services. Features may change or be discontinued at any time.

3. User Responsibilities

4. Player Identity

Players must verify their identity via email. Abuse may result in removal or restriction.

5. Liability

The service is provided "as is" without guarantees of availability or accuracy.

6. Service Availability & Termination (English)

The operation of this service may be discontinued in whole or in part at any time. There is no guarantee of permanent availability or continuation of any provided features.

In the event of termination, stored data including player statistics, registrations, and related information may be permanently deleted, unless legal retention obligations apply.

7. Hardware-Based Player Identity and Statistics

Player statistics are not stored in a global user account but are bound to the respective hardware (ILS ID). Each computer is treated as an individual identity.

Changes to hardware or the system environment (e.g., replacing components, reinstalling the operating system, or using a different device) may result in a new ILS ID being generated. In such cases, the player will be recognized as a new participant, and previously registered player names or statistics will not be automatically available.

A registered player name is permanently linked to the original ILS ID and cannot be reused without manual transfer.

Players are therefore advised to keep their ILS ID stored in a safe place. In justified cases, the operator may, at their sole discretion, transfer (migrate) player names and statistics to a new ILS ID, provided sufficient proof of ownership is supplied.

There is no entitlement to restoration or transfer of data.

What is TOST ILS?

TOST ILS (Identity Lock System) is a global player identity and security system for Tactical Ops servers using TOST.

It is designed to make player identity persistent, verifiable, and protected across all participating servers.

Key Features

🔐 Trusted Player Identification
Players who register and verify their identity are marked as trusted players. This status is visible in-game and confirms that the player is who they claim to be.

🛡️ Fake Name Prevention
ILS prevents other players from using your registered name. Even if someone tries to copy your name, they will not be recognized as trusted.

📊 Global & Server-Based Statistics
ILS is the foundation for a global stats system:
- Track your performance across all ILS-enabled servers
- View stats per individual server
- Build a persistent player profile over time

🌍 Global Database
All ILS-enabled servers connect to a shared system, ensuring:
- Consistent identity across servers
- Unified player data
- Centralized verification

⚡ Early Access / Firewall Integration
Trusted players are recognized earlier during connection and can pass server-side checks much more efficiently.

🔑 Secure Token-Based System
No sensitive data is shared between servers:
- Email addresses remain private
- Only secure, client-bound tokens are used for verification

1) Registration

To use ILS, you first need to register your identity.

Step 1: Join an ILS-enabled server
Connect to an ILS-enabled game server, for example:

Step 2: Join a team
After connecting, make sure you join a team so your player session is fully initialized.

Step 3: Open the registration page
Once you are in-game, open the console and type:

ilsregister

This will automatically open your browser and redirect you to:
https://tacops.de

Step 4: Identity Lock section
On the website, navigate to the { Identity Lock } section.

- Your ILS ID (unique to your computer) will already be filled in
- Your current in-game name will also be pre-filled

Step 5: Choose your name
You can try different names until you find one you like.
Once registered, your chosen name is permanently bound to your ILS ID.
This name cannot be changed later.

Step 6: Complete registration
Enter your email address and submit the registration.

Step 7: Email verification (required)
After registering, you will receive an email containing a verification link.

- You must click this link to activate your registration
- Without verification, your account will remain unregistered

- Your ILS ID is unique to your computer
- Your registered name is permanently linked to this ID
- Email addresses are NEVER shared with game servers
- Only secure tokens are exchanged between the web system and game servers
- These tokens are client-specific and cannot be reused by others

- Changes to your hardware or system (e.g. replacing components, reinstalling Windows, or using a different PC) may result in a new ILS ID
- In such cases, your registered name and stats may temporarily no longer be available
- We are currently working on a system that allows accounts to be used across multiple devices in the future
- Email addresses are NEVER shared with game servers
- Only secure tokens are exchanged between the web system and game servers
- These tokens are client-specific and cannot be reused by others

Some ILS data is locally cached in your User.ini.

If you share your User.ini with another player, you should remove these entries beforehand to avoid conflicts.

⚠️ Do not share this data with others.
Although other computers cannot use this information directly, it is still personal to your identity. These values are overwritten whenever you connect to an ILS server, but there is still a potential risk that your ILS ID could be misused for login attempts on the website.

If needed, simply delete this section before sharing your config.

2) In-Game Usage

Once you are registered and verified, ILS becomes part of your normal gameplay.

Console Commands

ilsregister
Opens the registration website in your browser.
Use this only once to register your identity. After successful registration and verification, you do not need it again.

ilsid
Displays your personal ILS ID.
Other players cannot directly use it, but you should still not share your ILS ID with anyone.

ilsname
Switches your name back to your registered trusted name.
Useful if you joined with a different or fake name. Especially helpful for complex or formatted names.
